The History of Nasalam

The community was initially founded in 1969 in Seattle, Washington, and grew to be a sizeable community over the next few years. We eventually left the city to live on a farm and that was a period of deep inner growth. The following couple decades saw individual members of that original community working together in various settings.

It was in 1995 that one of those long-time people associated with the community happened across land in SW Missouri that he felt was suitable for the work that had been envisioned. After visiting that land and assessing its energy, it was purchased and the present community founded.
